Popular author Nicholas Sparks is scheduled to speak at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford on February 5th, and the public is invited.
According to a press release, the speaking engagement is being held at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center at 7:30 p.m.
Sparks is a best-selling author of The Notebook, A Walk to Remember and 18 other books. With over 105 million copies of his books sold worldwide, Sparks is the author of 19 New York Times #1 bestselling books. His upcoming visit to western Oklahoma is co-sponsored by the Western Plains Library System and the SWOSU Panorama Series.
The university says tickets to the event are available online through the schools website, and also available in the SWOSU Public Relations & Marketing office in room 205 of the Hays Administration Building.
