Clinton AllianceHealth has announced the addition of a new physician to its staff.
CEO Landon Hise says Dr. Unimke Jeffery Ogar will join the medical staff at the hospital on October 12.
A press release from the hospital says Dr. Ogar has participated in the John Peter Smith Family Residency program in Ft. Worth, TX since July 2017. Hise reached out to the Dr. because of a strong need for his specialty in western Oklahoma. After visiting Clinton, and having grown up in Oklahoma, Dr. Ogar felt like this was a great opportunity.
Dr. Ogar graduated from University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita, KS in May 2016. Dr. Ogar also has a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and served as Oklahoma State Department of Health Assistant State Epidemiologist for two years.
Dr. Ogar will be sharing space in the clinic at AllianceHealth Clinton-Clinton Hills practice, along with Advanced Practice Nurse, Jessica Kennemer and Cardiologist Dr. Suresh Chandra. Dr. Ogar will specialize in providing care for the entire family, including delivering babies and performing C-sections.
Dr. Ogar will maintain office hours five days per week, from 8:00am to 5:00pm at 209 S. 30th in Clinton and the press release stated that he is currently accepting new patients.
