Multiple agencies from Oklahoma and Texas were led on a high speed pursuit Thursday that saw a Houston man arrested.

Book in records show that 38-year-old David Lee Thomas was arrested on a complaint of endangering others while eluding police after the incident.

Beckham County Sheriff Derek Manning said Texas officials attempted to pull the man over in Wheeler County but instead lead personal from the Wheeler County Sheriff’s Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety on the high speed pursuit that found it’s way into Oklahoma.

Manning said after the vehicle stalled, the suspect exited and attempted to evade capture on foot but was quickly apprehended.

Manning also said the man had felony warrants for his arrest out of the state of Missouri.

Along with both the Wheeler and Beckham County Sheriff’s Offices, and Texas DPS, Manning said Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and even an Oklahoma Game Warden assisted in the pursuit and capture of the man.
