Elk City Elkettes Dominate Bethany

The Elk City Elkettes continue to show their strength in the district with a commanding 7-1 victory over the Bethany Lady Bronchos on Monday night. Aubrie Pogue pitched a stellar game, allowing only one run on five hits, striking out eight, and walking just one batter.

At the plate, Jacee Baker went a perfect 3 for 3, driving in three runs, while Ella Sottile chipped in with two hits and two RBIs. This victory keeps the Elkettes close behind the Wford Lady Eagles in the 4A-1 standings. Wford leads at 8-1, while Elk City follows closely at 8-2. Bethany holds third place with a 6-4 record.
