Two juveniles were hospitalized over the weekend after being involved in an ATV accident in Kiowa County.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on Saturday just before 11 p.m. on a county road 2 miles east and 9 miles south of Lone Wolf.
OHP says both the cause of the crash and the condition of the driver remain under investigation, however the collision report did say that the 2018 Polaris Razr was driven by 30-year-old Samuel W. Vester of Roosevelt and that two 12-year-old boys, one from Roosevelt and the other from Snyder were all hospitalized.
OHP says Vester was admitted into Elkview General Hospital in Hobart with trunk internal and arm injuries, last listed to be in good condition. The juvenile from Roosevelt was admitted in fair condition with head, trunk external and arm injuries at OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. The other juvenile from Snyder was also admitted into OU Children’s Hospital in fair condition with head, trunk external and arm injuries.
