An outstanding warrant for the arrest of a Clinton man was issued last week in Custer County District Court after the man was charged with sexual battery.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed by Clinton Police, 47-year-old Michael Lee Bryant is accused of assaulting a 16-year-old male in July.

The victim would tell investigators that Bryant had offered the boy a job in construction that included a truck. He said that after going to the lake and riding jet skis, the two returned to the defendant’s home where he would tell the victim to stay the night due to having to wake up early the next morning to go to work.

The victim said that Bryant insisted the two sleep in the same bed due to his couch being uncomfortable.

The victim told police that that night he would wake up to find Bryant rubbing his pants and found that his pants had been unzipped.

As of press time Bryant has not been arrested.

No court date or bond has been set.

–UPDATE–

Court records show Bryant was arrested October 7. With a bond set at $25,000.
