It’s Halloween which means little ghosts, goblins, princesses, and maybe even a clown or two will be wandering the neighborhoods looking for treats.

Beckham County Sheriff Derek Manning offers tips on how to make sure you and your trick-or-treater remain safe tonight.

With the recent uptick in the trafficking of illegal fentanyl, Sheriff Manning asks parents to be extra vigilant this year with the candy that’s being collected.

Manning reminds residents that Halloween safety tips can also be found on the Beckham County Sheriff’s Department official app.
