Prairie West Golf Club hosts Western Athletic Conference golf tournament

The Western Athletic Conference golf tournament took place yesterday afternoon at the Prairie West Golf Club in Weatherford. The tournament saw some great play from the participating teams and players.

Lady Eagles take home team championship

The host team, the Lady Eagles of Weatherford, put in a stellar performance and clinched the team championship with a score of 355. Clinton took home second place with a score of 369, while Elk City came in third with a score of 371.

Rachel Carruth of Weatherford was the medalist of the tournament with an impressive score of 83. McKinley Elwick of the Lady Eagles came in second with a score of 85. Brett Barnett of Elk City and Addyson Littke of Clinton tied for third place with scores of 86.

Other scores

In addition to the winning scores, Weatherford had some other impressive performances, including Addison Elwick’s score of 92, Bayli Lawles’ score of 95, and Regan Rosenkranz’s score of 99. Clinton’s Rylee Cummings shot a 92, Kat Meacham shot 94, Kambree Davis had 97, and Grace Meacham fired 100. Elk City’s Campbell Rainey shot a 92, Caylin Burton shot 94, Camryn Edney fired 99, and Jayden Manning shot 103. Elliott Rainey played as an individual for Elk City and shot 121.
