While Weatherford Police are still looking for the man wanted in connection to the stabbing death of a family member on Saturday night, Clinton police are investigating a stabbing incident of their own that occurred on Friday night.

According to authorities, the incident occurred just before 10 p.m. Friday when police were dispatched to the 300 block of S. 14th Street in reference to a possible stabbing. When police arrived they would speak to a witness who said a man had been stabbed and had left the scene on foot.

A short time later, police were able to locate the man – who was not identified – holding a t-shirt to the side of his neck. After quickly being examined by police, they were able to find that the victim had an open stab wound on his left breast along with two open stab wounds on his neck.

The man was eventually flown to OU Medical Center where he was admitted in stable condition.

Police said the stabbing is under investigation and that there is no suspect at this time.
