U-Turn Accident Sends Hobart Woman to Hospital

A Hobart woman was injured Monday morning after being involved in a two vehicle accident near Cordell in Washita County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just before noon on OK-152, 10 miles east of Cordell when while traveling eastbound on the highway 67-year-old Cherrel L. Davis was struck on the driver’s side of the 2017 GMC Yukon she was driving by a 2006 Freightliner Conventional while she was attempting to make a U-turn.

As a result, Davis was flown to OU Trauma in Oklahoma City where she was admitted with intern trunk injuries. Her condition is unknown.

The driver of the semi, 51-year-old David Parada-Munoz was uninjured.
