The cause of a deadly crash near Carnegie on Monday is under investigation.
According to the collision report provided by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident took place Monday evening on OK-9, one mile west of Carnegie in Kiowa County.
Troopers said as a result, the one vehicle accident involved a 2004 Dodge Durango and left the driver, 48-year-old Chastity Clark of Mountain View deceased.
A passenger in the vehicle, 39-year-old Justin Dirickson of Carnegie, was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in fair condition with trunk internal, back, and leg injuries.
A cause to the wreck has yet to be determined.
No other vehicles were involved.
