A Weekend of Softball Excellence in Western Oklahoma
It was a great weekend all across Western Oklahoma with the OK Kids State Softball Tournaments being contested in three different age divisions at three different locations.
8U Tournament: Canute Trojanettes Triumph
The 8U tournament was held down in Chickasha. The Canute Trojanettes took home the State Title after a 13-6 championship game win over the Chickasha Pink Sox. The Trojanettes completed a perfect 41-0 season this spring.
10U Tournament: Cheyenne Spikes Claim Victory
The 10U State Champ is also from Western Oklahoma. The Cheyenne Spikes defeated Preston All Clans 5-2. Cheyenne went 23-8 and won state this summer.
12U Tournament: Elk City Elkettes Runner-Up Finish
The 12U State Title game featured the Elk City Elkettes. The Elkettes earned the runner-up trophy after falling in the championship game to the Mooreland Havoc 5-2.
