The 18th Annual SWOSU Athletic Auction & Benefit Dinner, held on Saturday at the Pioneer Event Center, raised over $172,000 for student-athlete scholarships and athletic recruiting. According to a press release, the event, which drew more than 320 guests, featured a cocktail hour, dinner, a super silent auction, and a live auction. Corky Heard of United Country Heard Auction & Real Estate conducted the live auction, with Hailey Tucker, a SWOSU basketball alumna, serving as emcee.

The online auction, which included over 100 items and attracted 178 bidders from 11 states, complemented the in-person event. The Super Silent Auction offered 11 items during the cocktail hour, while the Live Auction featured 17 packages and experiences. Major sponsors included Jett Distributing Company, Ben E. Keith Company, Clinton Textile Corporation, and Butcher’s Wine & Spirits.

SWOSU President Dr. Diana Lovell praised the community’s support, emphasizing its importance to student-athletes and programs. The event was supported by various SWOSU alumni and local businesses, and the SWOSU Foundation continues to promote philanthropy for the university’s activities.
