Officials have identified two more victims of the tragic two-vehicle collision that occurred last Thursday near Duke.
According to the latest information released by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the driver of the 2021 Ford Expedition has been identified as 55-year-old Sherri J. Sexton of Gould and the passenger as 64-year-old Gilbert C. Davis, also of Gould.
Troopers say the pair died in the crash.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the crash occurred near the intersection of U.S. 62 and South County Road 194, approximately three miles east of Duke, when, for an unknown reason, the Expedition and a 2018 Ford Focus collided.
Troopers said the driver of the Ford Focus, 36-year-old Landreth J. Emswiler of Mountain Park, a 17-year-old female, and an 11-year-old passenger were all pronounced deceased at the scene.
An 8-year-old male passenger remains hospitalized in Oklahoma City.
Troopers say the cause of the collision remains under investigation. Authorities have not released further details regarding contributing factors.
