Shamrock, TX – The City of Shamrock will offer free dumping at the City Landfill during the first weekend in May. Residents may bring household items and debris for disposal at no charge on Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3.
Landfill hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a lunch closure from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Due to recent winter weather and high winds, residents are encouraged to remove damaged or broken trees, limbs, and shrubs. This is also a great opportunity to clean up your property and dispose of unwanted items.

Construction materials are not included in this free service.

A disposal fee will be charged for any construction materials or contractor-delivered items. Contractors are responsible for their own disposal costs.
