The Oklahoma Blood Institute will be hosting a blood drive today at the First Christian Church in Clinton from 12pm – 6pm.

 

The Oklahoma Blood Institute will be hosting a blood drive at the Weatherford High School this Thursday from 9am – 3pm.

 

Applications are currently being accepted for Elk City Leadership Class VIII. The class is open to any adult with Elk City ties, either living or working in Elk City. A class of only 10-12 participants will be selected to join this distinguished program. The deadline for completed applications is this Friday at noon at the Chamber office located at 102 South Main, in Elk City.

 

A benefit event to help offset medical expenses for the Paul Warnke family will take place Saturday, January 29th at Friends Pub and Pizza in Canute from 6pm – 10pm. 40% of all food and drink purchases will go directly to the Warnke family.

 

The Boyscouts Annual Pancake Supper is taking place Tuesday, January 25th inside the Elks Lodge in Elk City. The donation only dinner will take place between 5:30pm – 8pm. Patrons are asked to go to the back door of the Elks Lodge.

 

Elk City’s Carnegie Library hosts “Lego Days” the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month during the school year for kids 5 to 12 from 3:30 to 5:30 pm in downtown Elk City.

Co-Dependents Anonymous meets every Wednesday at 12-noon at the Promise Center at 1st and Main Street in Elk City.

 

The Cordell Civic Club meets every Thursday at noon at the Sunshine Cafe and the Cordell Lions Club meets every Wednesday at noon at the Cordell Christian Home.

 

Is an alcoholic or addict wrecking your home-life? Find support. Clinton Al-anon meets on Wednesdays at noon at the United Methodist Church and Elk City’s Al-anon meets Monday nights at 7 at The Promise Center at 1st and Main.

 

Help fight hunger in Western Oklahoma Communities. Donate online to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma at food-for-kids-dot-us.

 

Celebrate Recovery provides help with “hurts, hang-ups or habits,” and meets in Elk City on Sunday night at The Link Church on South Main at 5 pm and on Tuesday night at First United Methodist Church on Country Club Road at 6 pm.

 

The Clinton Chamber’s Retail and Service Committee meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at the “P.E. Art Gallery” at 8:30 pm.

 

The Western Plains Weatherford Genealogical Society meets every Monday at 7 pm in the Western Oklahoma Historical Center.
