It was a busy weekend for Elk City emergency personal as multiple storms blew through the area that left downed power lines, uprooted trees, and structure damage.

The biggest of the storms appears to have occurred Friday night says Elk City Fire Chief Kyle Chervenka.

Another storm blew through Sunday night that also knocked out power for Elk City residents for a small amount of time.

That storm intensified as it traveled east and caused minor damage in Weatherford and significant damage in Hennessey in Kingfisher county.

No injuries have been reported.
