Custer County, OK – A Clinton man is facing serious charges after a high-speed chase through Custer County on April 5, 2025. Victor Rios Jr., 41, has been charged with four counts, including a felony for endangering others while attempting to elude police.
Court documents state Rios was driving a black 2012 Chrysler 300c at speeds over 134 mph on U.S. Highway 183 near Walton Road in Clinton. The chase reportedly lasted more than nine miles and involved dangerous lane changes and passing multiple vehicles. Authorities say Rios only stopped after clear visual and audible signals from a marked police unit.

The court filing also includes supplemental information showing Rios has prior felony convictions. In 2021, he was sentenced to 10 years for endangering others while eluding. Previous convictions in 2018 and 2014 included charges for firearm possession, concealing stolen property, DUI, and more.
With multiple prior convictions, Rios could face enhanced penalties if found guilty on the current charges.
