A late night pursuit led to a one vehicle crash on Wednesday in northeast Dewey County and put a Canton man in the hospital.

According to the collision report provided by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred just before midnight on a county road 3 miles west and 1 mile south of Canton when while being pursued by a Blaine County Deputy, 23-year-old Gabriel Rocha lost control of the 2013 Dodge Charger he was driving and rolled the vehicle one time.

As a result, Troopers said Rocha was ejected from the vehicle.

The report stated that the man was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in critical condition.
