
Elk City, OK – The City of Elk City is currently accepting applications for a full-time police officer position. This role involves enforcing laws, preventing crime, conducting investigations, issuing citations, controlling traffic, and supporting various law enforcement programs and services.
Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old

If uncertified, applicant must not turn 46 before starting training

Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License with acceptable record

Must pass a background check, physical fitness test, psychological evaluation, and oral board (details available on the city website)
Benefits:

Starting Pay: $46,061/year; $50,287/year after probation

CLEET-certified applicants may qualify for higher pay based on prior experience.

Officers can earn up to $73,318/year after 11 annual step increases in a non-supervisory role.
