The latest sales tax numbers are in for the City of Elk City and once again they look solid.

The latest report showed that the city collected just over $1.2 million dollars in sales tax thanks in large part, according to City Manager Tom Ivester, due to inflation.

This round of sales tax represents a 6% increase when compared to a year ago.

The report came during the latest meeting of the Elk City Commission.
