With the Elk City Activity Center nearing completion, the Elk City Commission has approved the purchase of equipment for the esports portion of the building.
Activity Center Director Matt Bradshaw told the Commission during their recent meeting that the $74,220 of approved funds will be used to purchase computer equipment for 20 “work stations”.
Bradshaw also told the Commission that the equipment could also be used for possible vocational training if needed.
