Fentanyl Found During Erick Traffic Stop

A Lone Wolf man pulled over in Erick recently was allegedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl.

According to the probable cause affidavit the traffic stop took place shortly before midnight on May 23 when a deputy noticed the vehicle that 51-year-old James Mark Angelly was driving had a headlight out.

After pulling Angelly over the deputy discovered that Angelly had a suspended license and that he had multiple outstanding warrants out of Kiowa County.

The deputy also discovered that the vehicle’s tag was expired.

After searching Angelly, the deputy reported that he found, what would later field test positive as being methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Angelly was placed under arrest and booked into the Beckham County Jail. He was later charged with trafficking in illegal drugs and driving with a suspended license.

Bond was set at $25,000.
