After entering into a settlement agreement with the owners of the Glancy Motel, the Clinton City Council officially removed the condemnation status of the historic Route 66 motel during their meeting last week. City Manager Mark Skiles says removal of the status came with some conditions for the owners, including taking steps towards addressing structural issues.
Another condition of the settlement is that work on the motel mus begin no later than March 3, and must be completed by April 10, 2021.
