The three people who lost their lives in a medical helicopter crash near Hydro late Saturday night have been identified.

Pilot Russell Haslam, Flight Nurse Adam Tebben and Flight Paramedic Steven Fitzgerald were in the crash, according to the Air Evac Lifeteam.

Air Evac Lifeteam confirmed the crash with a social media post Sunday morning saying that at 11:23 p.m. Saturday, AEL’s Operations Control Center (OCC) lost contact with the aircraft.

The company stated that the crew, based out of Weatherford, were on their way back after completing a patient care transport to an Oklahoma City hospital.

AEL teams assisted law enforcement search for the wreckage where it was found east of Hydro near the intersection of CR 1010 and CS 2490 roads.

AEL turned over the investigation to the NTSB.
