Hunter Ed. Course Offered in Elk City

The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife has announced that registration is open for the upcoming hunter education course taking place in Elk City.

Just in time for the upcoming deer season, the course conducted by Lt. James Edwards is scheduled to take place at the Elk City campus of Western Technology Center at 301 Western Drive, on Saturday August 19 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Hunter Education covers a variety of topics including hunting safety, hunter responsibility, wildlife identification, wildlife conservation and management, survival, archery and muzzleloading.

Lunch will be provided by Elk Creek Strutters NWTF Chapter.
