A motorcycle accident near Hydro Monday morning put an Arkansas man in the hospital.

According to the collision report provided by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the wreck took place 2 miles east of Hydro in the westbound lanes of Interstate 40 when 55-year-old Michael R. Ault of Gould, Arkansas drifted into a closed lane of the interstate due to construction and struck two traffic cones while riding his 2016 Harley Davidson.

As a result, the motorcycle would lay over onto its side and Ault would be thrown from the bike.

Troopers said Ault was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in stable condition with trunk internal, arm, and leg injuries.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
