Illegal Marijuana Grow Operation Shut Down in Washita County

Dill City, OK — In a coordinated effort among local and state agencies, an illegal marijuana grow operation was successfully shut down Thursday at the intersection OK-152 and OK-44 just west of Dill City in Washita County.

According to the Washita County Sheriff’s Office, the joint operation involved the Sheriff’s Office, the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Officials say the operation lead to the seizure of 6,123 marijuana plants and 1,050.2 pounds of processed marijuana from the property.

Authorities expressed their gratitude to the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and the Washita County District 3 Commissioner with their help in the operation.

There has been no reports of any arrests being made at this time.
