GPRMC Press Release – Marnie Tosh
Elk City, OK: After a long-tenured position that began in 1981, Jack Morrison, DDS has retired from the Great Plains Regional Medical Center (GPRMC) board of directors.
“For decades, Dr. Morrison has embodied GPRMC’s core values and mission, anchored by a singular focus on delivering high-quality healthcare for our patients, employees, and communities that we serve,” Kyle Zybach, Chairman of the Board stated. “Jack is an exceptional director, and his positive impact will reverberate for many years to come.”
Through his years of service, Dr. Morrison has led GPRMC through many changes. He noted that the largest project was helping to oversee the building of the current facility that opened in 2009. In discussing his tenure, he mentioned that one of the top highlights was the continued education he was able to be a part of as a board member. The healthcare landscape has greatly changed over the years and is continuing to evolve. The educational opportunities and engagement on a national level assist board members to make decisions that will continue to keep GPRMC poised as a top regional healthcare facility.
Dr. Morrison said, “GPRMC is powered by the talent, passion and commitment of many hundreds of people employed and affiliated with GPRMC who are united by a common goal: delivering high-quality healthcare to Elk City and its surrounding communities. It has been a distinct pleasure and privilege to be a part of the GPRMC board, and I will be forever grateful to my GPRMC colleagues for their dedicated efforts that have led to the facilities many advancements over the years.”
“I am also grateful to my fellow, GPRMC board of directors, past and present, for their expertise and support through the years. I am confident that the board will continue to help guide the facility in a manner that will allow it to succeed and remain committed to its mission,” Morrison added.
“On behalf of GPRMC management and our board of directors, I want to express our deepest appreciation for Jack’s innumerable contributions and indelible impact on our facility and community’s health,” said Corey Lively, CEO. “During his tenure, Jack led with conviction and advocated for patients, employees, and our community. He has been an exemplar of purpose-driven leadership and vision. I am honored to have worked alongside Dr. Morrison and am excited for what the future holds as we continue to build on his legacy.”
