Lt. Governor’s Turkey Hunt Returns to Elk City

Oklahoma Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell was in Elk City Thursday as part of the 35th Annual Lt. Governor’s Turkey Hunt that tours Oklahoma towns and cities and showcases Oklahoma to prospective out-of-state companies and site selection representatives.

During a lunch event at the Arrowhead Center, Pinnell was asked what it takes to attract business to Elk City. He said it all starts with a visit. Stating that Elk City’s location on Route 66 will always bring people to the city.

Elk City was the second of eight stops in the Lt. Governor’s tour. Up next Pinnell will travel to Woodward and Alva this week – and wrap up the tour next week in Ardmore, Cleveland, Hugo, and Okemah.
