Major Fire at Popular Elk City Business

A longtime Elk City business suffered a major fire early Monday morning.

Elk City Fire Chief Kyle Chervenka says crews were dispatched to Circle A Western Wear located on the western side of the city on 3rd Street just after 4:30 a.m. to a call of a fire on the roof of the building.

Chervenka said although no official cause of the fire has been established, it appears to be electrical in nature.

He also added that Hear Gear Hearing Aid Center, a business also located within the building may have suffered damage as well.

No injuries were reported.
