Sayre Juveniles Found Safe After Amber Alert Issued

Drama Thursday after an Amber Alert was issued for three missing juveniles out of Sayre.

Beckham County Sheriff Derek Manning says shortly after the alert was issued, the missing 2-year-old boy, 5-year-old girl, and 4-year-old girl were safely located and unharmed, and that the juvenile’s father, 35-year-old John Robert Catt was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit involving officers with the Sayre Police Department, Beckham County Sheriff’s Office and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Sheriff Manning tells Paragon Communications that the case has been turned over to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Catt is currently being held at the Beckham County Jail.

Charges are pending.
