A semi versus tractor accident Friday afternoon in Beckham County critically injured an Elk City man.

According to the collision report provided by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol the accident occurred at approximately 3:20 near the intersection of E 1220 Road and Highway 34, 2 miles north of Carter when a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia attempting to pass a 2023 New Holland tractor collided with the tractor when the tractor attempted to make a left hand turn onto a county road.
