As of 9:20 p.m. Sunday, the Clinton Police Department has confirmed that the subjects involved in the recent vehicle pursuit have been located and are now in custody.

Earlier Sunday, the Clinton Police Department, in coordination with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, engaged in a high-speed chase involving a stolen vehicle. The pursuit began on Interstate 40 eastbound from mile marker 57 and concluded with the vehicle crashing at mile marker 65.

Following the crash, two male suspects, one later identified as Eddy Alexander Ponce-Saravia, fled on foot towards the areas of Red Wheat, Boulevard of Champions, Chapman, and Neptune Roads.

Authorities initially issued a BOLO (Be On the Look Out) alert, urging residents to remain vigilant, secure their homes and vehicles, and contact 911 if the suspects were sighted.

With the subjects now in custody, the immediate search and alert have been lifted.

The identity of the second suspect who was arrested has not been released. Charges for both suspects are pending; however, according to booking information at the Custer County Detention Center, Ponce-Saravia is facing charges of stolen vehicle possession, eluding, child endangerment, and kidnapping.

This is a developing story.
