Two Hospitalized After Greer Co. Wreck

An Altus man and Snyder woman were hospitalized last week after being involved in a two vehicle accident near Blair in Greer County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s collision report, the accident took place just after 4 p.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of US-283 and OK-6, 2 miles north of Blair when a 2016 Kia Sportage driven by 74-year-old William D. Stevens of Altus had pulled onto US-283 from OK-6 and was struck by a 2017 Ford Explorer driven by 64-year-old Gregory H. Schulz of Snyder.

As a result, troopers said Stevens was admitted into Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus with trunk internal injuries. He was last listed to be in good condition.

A passenger in the Explorer, 87-year-old Gisela Schulz, was taken to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where she was admitted with trunk internal and leg injuries. She was last listed to be in fair condition.

The driver of the Explorer was uninjured.
