Two
people lost their lives following a shooting in the parking lot of
the Woodward Walmart on Wednesday evening.
The
incident occurred around 5 p.m., according to the Woodward Police
Department. Authorities reported that 42-year-old Christina Alewine
was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, 81-year-old Gary
Mulbery, was airlifted to OU Health in Oklahoma City, where he
succumbed to his injuries around 10 p.m.
Police
apprehended the suspect, a 30-year-old man from Beaver County, near a
detention pond west of Woodward High School. He was taken into
custody, questioned by detectives, and later booked into the Woodward
County Jail. The suspect faces two counts of first-degree murder.
