During a recent appearance on The Early Morning Show on 96.5 KECO, Assistant Police Chief John Cook provided an update on the police department’s progress saying crews are on schedule with a completion date expected in July.
“They’re coming along pretty good. They’re just about to the end of the hanging of the drywall and now they’re going to have to tape and bed and all that stuff. They’re clicking on all cylinders right now.”
Currently, ECPD is operating out of the old City Hall building, while dispatch is temporarily stationed at the former Buck’s Lodge. More updates will be provided as the project moves forward.
