An Altus man wanted for allegedly shooting into a home last October was arrested recently in Alabama.
According to the Altus Police, 26-year-old Manuel Kevin Dutra was transported back to Altus and booked into the Jackson County Jail Thursday evening, after being arrested in Lineville, Alabama on May 5.
Dutra was charged with willfully discharges a deadly weapon into a dwelling after his suspected involvement in a string of shootings in late October 2019. Police say multiple homes suffered damage from gunfire during the incident and that there were no injuries reported.
Dutra’s bond has been set at $250,000.
