With the color of the winter wheat starting to turn gold, that only means one thing: wheat harvest season is just around the corner for Western Oklahoma and the surrounding region.

With a preview, here’s Paragon Communications Ag News Director Jimmy Clark.

Motorists are also asked to be aware of harvest crews traveling through the area and are asked to practice caution and safety. Just this week an accident in Altus involving a harvesting combine and a Ford Focus, where the vehicle pulled out in front of the combine, left a Jackson County woman dead.

We’ll have wheat harvest updates from Jimmy Clark throughout the harvest season.
