49th Annual Elk City Fall Festival This Weekend

The Elk City Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to the 49th Annual Elk City Fall Festival on Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18. This year’s event will be held at the Elk City Convention Center at 1016 East Airport Industrial Road. Saturday’s event hours are 10AM – 6PM and Sunday 12PM – 5PM. Admission is Free.

Billed as the largest arts & crafts show in Western Oklahoma and as in years past this year’s event will feature artists and crafts people who will be displaying their items for purchase throughout the entire weekend.

From fine arts, to pottery, to ceramics, to custom-made jewelry and more, the Fall Festival is a terrific way to get a head start on your holiday shopping,” stated Chamber Executive Director Susie Cupp. “This is definitely one of our favorite events according to our local residents and the many visitors from around the region and the committee does an outstanding job in pulling it all together,” adds Cupp.

Along with over 100+ professional booths expected at this year’s event in the north exhibit hall there will be several great food vendors located at the outdoor food court by the big white tent north of the north exhibit hall. Those confirmed for the show includes: MMP Concessions will be serving deep fried oreos, corn dogs, curly fries, nachos, cheese on a stick, fountain drinks and fresh squeezed lemonade. Blue Mountain Smoke will have their BBQ pulled pork, brisket, sausages, nachos, loaded potatoes and combo meals. Pacific Brim will be serving deep fried burgers, pork fries and other foods. Abby’s Authentic Mexican Food will be serving tacos, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, tortes birria tacos, queso, chips and drinks. Big Elk Diner will be serving Asian and Filipino Food, and chicken bites. Also, Sno Way Shaved Ice will be available with their snow cones, cotton candy, caramel apples, soft pretzels, nachos and fresh lemonade. Goode Snacks will have their kettle corn and pork rinds outside and their roasted nuts and fudge in the north exhibit hall west room. Brown’s Grill will be serving breakfast, smash burgers and loaded fries. Kendall Concessions will be serving Newburg pastries, ice cream frozen bananas, nachos, hotdogs, sliced brisket, cajun chicken, and frito chili pie. The food vendors will be serving beverages. The Fall Festival committee will present numerous awards in selected booth categories along with the high school art. Awards to be presented in the professional booths category will be Best of Show, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place for fine art, photography, pottery, sculpture and fine woods.

Literally thousands of people have gone through this annual event and we’d love to see everyone from Elk City and the surrounding communities come out and have fun with us again this year.”
