Allsup’s Coming to Elk City

According to a recent article in The Oklahoman, a popular convenience store plans to expand its footprint in Oklahoma with one of the stores planned to be built and opened in Elk City.

Allsup’s, a convenience store commonly seen during road trips through Texas and New Mexico, says they plan to open a total of 7 additional stores throughout the state.

That adds to their already 5 locations in Oklahoma that includes stores in Frederick and Altus.

The article indicated that 4 of the new stores are already under construction at Broken Bow, Davis, Tushka, and near the Oklahoma – Texas border in Thackerville.

The 3 other stores, including the new one in Elk City is planned to start construction next month.

No official word one where Allsup’s will be located in Elk City.
