Archer Reacts to Governor’s Call for Special Session

More local reaction of Gov. Kevin Stitt’s calling for a special session earlier this week.

Like most lawmakers on both sides, District 55 Representative Nick Archer (R-Elk City) says he doesn’t like the burden it will have on tax payers.

Archer said if the tax cut is awarded, it would save Oklahoma citizens around $78 a year.

The governor’s special session is scheduled to start Monday, January 29.

The 2nd Session of the 59th Legislature is scheduled to begin on February 5.
