That’s Elk City City Manager Tom Ivester talking about the amount of people that have utilized the recently opened Arrowhead Activity Center in Ackley Park West.

Ivester said although the venue is open and operational, there are still a few already purchased items the city is waiting on to be delivered. He said during the upcoming City Commissioners Meeting that will take place Wednesday afternoon, the Commission will consider buying various kitchen equipment from a local business that has recently closed it’s doors.

If approved, the purchase amount of the equipment is for $21,250.

Other budgeted items under consideration to purchase for the Arrowhead Center during the Commissioners proceedings include just over $32,000 for office furniture.

Tomorrow’s meeting inside city hall is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
