Elk City fire crews were busy Wednesday night battling a garage fire.
According to fire officials, crews with B-shift were dispatched to the home in the 200 block of W. Parkview. There, they found heavy smoke and heavy fire coming from the garage area of the home. They were able to successfully contain the fire within minutes of arrival however it was reported that extensive damage did occur.
No injuries were reported and the cause of that fire remains under investigation.
