Dewey Co. Wreck Hospitalizes One

An injury collision occurred on Thursday around 4:40 P.M. in Dewey County has hospitalized a Chester man.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 66-year-old Robert Beck was driving a 2004 GMC Envoy westbound on US-60, 3 miles west of Seiling when he exited the road to the left, causing the vehicle to slide, then hit a tree.

The vehicle rolled almost two times, resulting in the vehicle landing on its passenger side.

Beck was pinned for 20 minutes before being removed by the Seiling Fire Department.

Beck was flown to OU Medical Center and was admitted in stable condition with internal injuries.
