An Enid man faces multiple charges after being arrested last month for child endangerment, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver’s license, possession of marijuana, and speeding.

According to a probable cause affidavit, 34-year-old Roy Lawrimore was taken into custody by Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers on October 20. Troopers observed a vehicle traveling westbound on Interstate 40 near the 75-mile marker, clocked at 83 miles per hour in a 70 mph zone, and failing to maintain a single lane. A passenger in the front seat was identified as Lawrimore’s 10-year-old daughter. The girl’s mother, also from Enid, was contacted, and another authorized adult arrived to pick her up. A search of the vehicle reportedly uncovered remnants of smoked marijuana.

Court records indicate that Lawrimore has a prior arrest for driving under the influence from March 2019.

Lawrimore’s bond was set at $20,000, an
