The Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) Music Academy has announced the opening of enrollment for the Fall 2024 term, with the registration deadline on Monday, Aug. 26. The term will run for 10 weeks, beginning Monday, Sept. 9 and concluding with a final performance on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m.
This fall, the Music Academy offers a variety of group classes, as well as private and adaptive lessons for students ages three and up. Group classes are led by SWOSU Music faculty and alumni. The offerings include the following:
Musical Preschool Pups taught by Elizabeth Edge
Allegro Youth Choir taught by Tiffany Ragan
Rhythm Rovers (new) taught by Tiffany Ragan
Recorder Class (new) taught by Kathleen Jung
Private and adaptive lessons will be provided by SWOSU Music students, our junior faculty, under the guidance of SWOSU Music faculty.
The SWOSU Music Academy welcomes everyone, from beginners to experienced musicians. Participants will explore various music genres, develop their vocal or instrumental abilities, and gain knowledge through group activities.
