A Hitchcock man lost his life Wednesday in a single vehicle accident in Blaine County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 56-year-old Kevin Biggs was driving his Chevrolet Silverado eastbound on OK-51, when for reasons unknown, he departed the roadway to the left.

Biggs’ vehicle struck a tree and rolled one-half time before it came to a stop in a ditch, resting on its top.

OHP says Biggs was pronounced dead on the scene due to extensive injuries on his entire body. He was transported to a funeral home in Canton to later be transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
