Zachery Ty Bryan, widely recognized for his role as Brad Taylor on the ’90s hit show “Home Improvement”, was taken into custody in Custer County on Friday on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The Custer County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Bryan’s booking at the county jail just after 8:30 a.m. for a DUI – marking his second felony offense. The Sheriff’s website published Bryan’s mugshot alongside the booking information.

Reports indicate that the incident began around 6:47 a.m. when police officers found Bryan asleep in his car’s backseat. After initially leaving him undisturbed, officers later observed Bryan behind the wheel, leading to a traffic stop. Video footage showed Bryan admitting to officers he had been drinking and that he “doesn’t think [he] ever stopped.”

During the sobriety tests, Bryan rated his own soberness a “five” out of ten. He failed the assessments and was subsequently arrested.

This DUI charge is Bryan’s latest brush with the law, coming on the heels of a February arrest in California, which marked his fourth DUI-related offense. He was released from custody later that day on $50,000 bail and is scheduled for a court appearance on April 23.

Beyond his role on “Home Improvement”, Bryan appeared in films like “First Kid” and “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”.
