Ivester: Elk City Has Public Storm Shelter

After the first major spring storm blew through the region Sunday night, many are asking: is there a public storm shelter in Elk City?

City Manager Tom Ivester says “yes there is”.

Ivester says the shelter holds up to 70 people and is open to anyone needing to use it in the event of severe weather.
